Description

The game board represents a pond that is divided into smaller and larger spaces. In the middle of the pond is a small raised plate as an island. The game includes spiders, frogs and flies. The spiders initially use the small island as a place to stay. The large spaces are intended for the frogs, while the spiders and flies are supposed to move on the small spaces. Outside the pond, on the edge, there are four crosses of yellow, green, red and blue colors. These positions are to be assigned to the frogs at the beginning of the game. The small green spaces on the banks of the pond are protective places; frogs cannot penetrate here. Up to four people can play, and each player receives a spider, a frog and four flies. Movement is determined by a die. The spiders may enter the game, when a fly of the same color reaches the space under the spider.
The frogs eat spiders and flies and the spiders eat frogs and flies. The last remaining player wins the game.

The rules include a version without a die.

The game was published about 1940.
