Ph. D. The Game is a card game that places players directly in the middle of a graduate school scientific research lab. Players are required to draw, play, and discard cards, competing with each other to be the first member of their lab to graduate.
Getting publications accepted is never easy but Lab Member Cards and other graduate school themed Action Cards such as "Committee Meeting" and "Your PI Lost Funding" will either help you or hurt your other labmates. When you obtain enough Figure Cards, you can submit your publication for review (which will not always get accepted of course!).
Get enough accepted publications and you will become the first member of your lab to graduate with your Ph.D.!
This game truly embodies both the stress and accomplishment of going to graduate school.
