The 9th installment in the Project Shrine Maiden series.
Phantasmagoria of Flower view is a "versus shmup", played against a human opponent or AI. Players play on a vertically split screen, and the goal is to survive longer than the opponent. Defeating enemies on the own screen will cause bullets to appear on the opponent's screen, not unsimilar to the Puyo Puyo (Puyo Pop) series of "vs puzzle games".
This, and its predecessor Phantasmagoria of Dimension Dream were both inspired by Twinkle Star Sprites.
Playable characters are Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sakuya Izayoi, Yomu Konpaku, Reisen Udongein Inaba, Cirno, the Prismriver sisters, Mystia Lorelei, Tei Inaba, Aya Shameimaru
