Pigskin

Game ID: GID0245012
Collection Status
Description

An early attempt at simulating football 'For adults and grown-up boys'. A neat set of wooden 'players', 50 cards, a game board, instructions and a pad of 'Chart-o-Graph' charts. All in a box with 'wonderful graphics.'

The rules for playing Pigskin are essentially the same as the rules of Football. Persons familiar with the outdoor game will find but one principal variation from regulation play. This rule prevents repeated attacks on one weak position, forcing the "quarterbacks" to diversify the play. Pigskin contains all the elements found in Regulation Football and is the nearest approach to football of any game yet devised.
