Description

Pisando Fundo is a racing game in which players move their cars on a grid, similar to, for example, Monza.
But the method used for movement is quite different. Each player has speed tokens every 20 km/h and, with each new round, must decide whether to accelerate or brake the vehicle, but not both.
Starting from the vehicle's speed in the previous round, the players place markers on the grid, accelerating every 20 km/h or braking at the same rate, until there are no markers left or they choose to stop placing markers, moving the vehicle to the last space and leaving the last token to find out the vehicle's speed.
However, several restrictions are imposed: you can only overtake a vehicle if, when you are next to it, you have an equal or greater speed.
In addition, various spaces on the track show recommended speeds and, if the player passes one of these spaces at a different speed, you receive a damage card every 20 km/h.
The damage cards cause you to lose speed tokens, interfering with how much you can move.
