Description
Pit-Witz is an abstract strategy game system made in Singapore. The rules that come with the set describe 9 games that may be played with the set.
In the basic game of Pit-Witz, each player has 8 pieces and tries to get them from his corner to the opposite corner. The board is like a cross-word grid and pieces move like chess rooks. In making a move, the pieces have to move all the way down a corridor, until they encounter a dark square or another piece. Other games add the use of dice and money (called witzers).
The names of the other games are:
Jet-Witz
Banditz
Dice-Witz
Plus-Witz
Haggle-Witz
Stomp-Witz (also known as Beetles)
Claim-Witz
Morlocks
