Ships disappear from time to time in the Sonora sector. Piracy is not unknown. Accidents sometimes happen in space. But The Devonshire disappeared without a trace. There was no debris ever found. No transponders were ever discovered. No distress calls were ever sent. The ship just vanished without a trace in the middle of a populated sector.
Now... out of the blue....the ship has been discovered......intact!
Recently reports of the discovery have made their way to the Kastle Transport Company.
Daniel Dubois, a low level manager at the company, has sent a courier to the travelers asking that they meet him at their corporate office on the planet that they are currently visiting. He offers CR 200,000 for the travelers to visit the ship and bring it back into port. He offers an additional CR 100,000 if the travelers can investigate the disappearance and determine what happened to the Devnoshire in the first place. An additional CR 25000 will be paid for rescue of each surviving crew member.....if any can be found.
