The game comes with an octagonal board, 4 Pooffs (rubber bulbs), 2 small cork or rubber balls and a carry bag. The ball is placed in the center of the board. Players secure their Pooff in the metal rings in the board and squeeze them to provide puffs of air to propel the ball into the "home circle" of the opposing players.
Players play simultaneously. The game ends when a player has reached 10 points or a time limit is reached. The other players then compare their scores and the player with the lowest number of points wins.
Pooff boards are handmade, The publisher tag in the center of the board varies (some with city/state, some without). 2 player version requires players to control 2 Poofs at once ; 4 player version is preferred.
