Popeye Knock Out

36 cards featuring Popeye characters regularly seen in the TV version which started in 1961. Popeye is pictured on the box. The game play is simple. Each player gets a stack of cards. These remain face-down in front of him. The first player turns over the top card of his stack. If it is a character card, play passes to the next player. But if it is a Spinach card, the next player must 'Put' the nimber of cards indicated on the can of spinach (either 1, 2 or 3). If no more spinach is added whilst he is taking this action, all the cards played go to the player who played the spinach card and he puts them face-down under his stack.
