Power In Stories

Dark dreams have come to the people of Fasten and the surrounding community, each with a common theme: a creature is coming. But its shape differs depending on those dreaming of it; its strengths, abilities, and appearance change as the townsfolk talk. This creature’s power comes from the perceptions and expectations of those who find it. When the heroes come to help solve this strange threat, its final shape and abilities will depend on those they manage to speak to get information before it arrives.

Power In Stories is a Q-Encounter, or Quick-Encounter, that can be run for a group of four to six players with 6th-level characters. This encounter would be considered a ‘medium’ to ‘hard’ encounter.
