User Summary
The PowerSaves Pro is a cheat device that functions by over-writing game save information with modified data. The system interfaces a game cartridge (for the Nintendo DS family) and the manufacturer website, via a USB link to a computer running a compatible web browser. The site analyzes the cartridge to identify the game, then provides a list of available cheats. The user selects the cheats desired and the site then reads the cartridge save file, applies the cheats, and re-writes the cartridge save file. The cartridge is then used as usual, with the modified save data.
The site currently includes an enormous list of game titles, and new titles are continuously added (and new cheats for existing titles also are added).
