In Prism, the protagonist awakens one day to find the world is being drained of color. The solution is to search out the stolen Prism and restore it, bringing color back to the world.
Storydisk-puzzles were essentially visual novels with a few points of decision made by the player. The graphical display and text provide the main narrative.
Prism was unusual due to its marketing program - the story held clues to the three real-world, hidden locations of three solid gold, gem-encrusted keys (at the time, each valued at US$5,000).
