Prodigy Tactics is a tactical strategy game developed by Hanakai Studio and published by Forever Entertainment S.A. for Windows computers on September 28th 2018.
The game, originally funded through Kickstarter back in 2014, was meant to interact with figurines and cards via an NFC game board similar in concept to Skylanders or Disney Infinity.
After an initial release date set in 2015, the studio announced the game would be delayed due to an upgrade of its gameplay system. A version of the game without NFC connectivity was put into Early Access on November 8th 2017 before seeing a full release on September 28th 2018.
As of 2024, the figures, cards and game boards from the Kickstarter campaign remain unfulfilled. The game has also not seen any patches or enhancements either leading many to believe the project may be abandoned.
