Professor Prospector: Into the Important Cavern

Professor Prospector is a 30 minute fast paced gemstone set collection card game that pairs historical facts about gemstones and 'Take That' game mechanics. Players compete against each other to be the first to collect 5 pairs of gems using action and upgrade cards that follow a mining theme. Action cards include pickaxes to take cards, torch lamps to see another player's hand, and more. Upgrade cards create status effects, such as Land Deed which increases the player's hand to 8 cards until discarded by the required action card. With 6 cards per hand, each turn players place down pairs to declare gems, use action or upgrade cards, and then draw to fill their hand.
