Project Green is an educational, co-op set collection and hand management game, suitable for children of ages 7 to 12.
The game consists of 5 kinds of cards.
Technologies: Water Purification, Renewable Clean Energy, Recycling, Landform
Cultures: Safeguarding Water Resources, Pollution Reduction, Proper Consumption, Healthy Nurishment
Basic Needs: Water, Energy, Goods, Food
Α Volunteers card
Last but not least there are some pesky Pollution cards that mess with our plans to create the perfect Green environment.
The players draw cards from a deck which consists of Basic Needs and Pollution cards. Then they can discard 3 identical cards to put a progress token on the corresponding technology, or 3 different cards to put a progress token on a technology corresponding with one of the cards played. The cards are discarded beneath the appropriate technology
Cultures are wildcards that can be used instead of one card from our hand.
If a player's hand consists of 2 or more pollution cards then he has two options. Either discard one or more Volunteer tokens to discard the same number of pollution cards and draw new ones or contaminate a technology card with pollution thus turning the corresponding culture permanently.
The game ends after the deck runs out. Then the players are awarded points equal to the number of Basic Needs cards discarded beneath the Technology cards that match minus any Pollution cards.
The players win if they manage to score more than 30 points.
