From publisher blurb:
Far off the beaten track, deep in the tundra, miles from anything of strategic significance… the enemy have a base. The PCs are sent to sneak in and find out who is stationed there and what on earth the place is for. And, of course, to deal with anything nefarious and underhanded the enemy is up to. (Steal it, sabotage it or blow it into tiny pieces).
Project Obsidian is a system agnostic (i.e. systemless) military science fiction scenario. Resources for the GM include: maps; enemy tactics and objectives; bios for platoon NPCs with whom the PCs can interact or the GM can utilise on this and future missions; and data on the terrain, indigenous aliens and local wildlife. Nothing is statted up – the idea is you use your favourite system and/or slot it into a campaign in whatever setting you fancy.
