User summary:
Prometheus Blade uses a unique method of Attributes, with each score being derived from (and tied to) a specific body part (Head, Chest, Arms, and Legs). Characters have one "Below Average" body part, two "Average" body parts, and one "Above Average" body part, where scores range from 2-4 accordingly. Characters learn Skills derived from specific Body Parts and their Values.
All actions compare an "Action Value" to an "Opposition Value". The Action Value is derived from the Body Part and possible Skill. The Opposition Value is set by the GM in the case of unopposed actions, or by the opponent's values in the case of opposed actions. These two values are cross-referenced on a matrix table yielding a target number for success, against which 2d6 (for Skilled checks) or 1d6+1 (for unskilled checks) are rolled and summed. The matrix values range from 3 (exceptionally easy) to 12 (exceptionally difficult).
