Psyvariar 2: The Will to Fabricate is the sequel to the 1999 shoot 'em up (shmup) arcade game Psyvariar.
In Psyvariar 2, the player controls a robot through 5 levels of vertical shooter action. The BUZZ system has been carried over from the first game. The BUZZ system is a unique way to "level up" the player's robot based on the number of bullets the player is able to graze in succession.
In addition to the BUZZ system, the spinning system is also present in the game. The spinning system allows the player to jerk the joystick in one direction and then the opposite in order to spin his or her robot. This gives the player a narrow range of fire, but increases the power of his or her shots. Additionally, spinning will speed the player's robot up slightly.
