Rather than covering a particular portion of the city of Ptolus, this book instead covers the city’s residents: the groups and families that wield power and influence here. These organizations are in many ways the heart and soul of the Ptolus Campaign, and most player characters will deal with them extensively, some as allies and some as enemies.
The key to understanding the city requires an understanding of the organizations of people who live there. Ptolus as we know it exists as a result of the ways these groups interact. From the noble houses to the criminal organizations, from the knighthoods to the guilds, these are the groups that have really shaped the city. This book details dozens of the most important groups in—and under—Ptolus.
