Greetings adventurers and Game Masters!

I am pleased to release a game supplement detailing the creepy creature known as The Pumpkin Man, a malevolent fae spirit for use at Halloween, Samhain, or any time you need a good Autumn-themed nemesis for your players. This supplement lays out the Old School Renaissance (“OSR”) statistics which I designed to bring The Pumpkin Man to life in my OSRIC campaign world of Terrans.

The Pumpkin Man I present here is a creature of my own creation. It takes the form of a Large-sized (9’ tall) fae creature from the magical Land of Faerie, composed of vines, leaves, stalks and pumpkins. While he is normally found travelling the byways of Faerie, he may be encountered on the prime material plane when the veil between the worlds has thinned, such as on Samhain, when he crosses over looking to feed on mortals and drag them off to Faerie!

This supplement contains a full monster listing for my creation, including information on its vorpal scythe, which should be compatible with most OSR retro-clones. My original OSR version of The Pumpkin Man first appeared in the pages of my 2017 holiday one-shot adventure “Wycked Summons” and he was the main feature of my 2019 holiday one-shot "The Pumpkin Man". While I felt my past two adventure featuring The Pumpkin Man had a lot of offer, I also recognized many GMs running OSR games might enjoy having a ready-made OSR version of the beastie to drop into their own campaigns at the holidays, especially the many of you who do not like to run pre-made scenarios. So I decided to release this new, updated version of The Pumpkin Man for your personal use and enjoyment! He is easily modified to challenge players of any level by merely adjusting his hit dice and hit points.
