You are a ball going through different settings, solving the puzzles -- usually getting your ball to a certain location -- and then exiting. There are interesting physics effects and also some frustrating ones, like not being able to use shift to move the camera or having controls that don't quite have the feathery touch of real physical movement, but these will hopefully be fixed up over time. There are simple challenges to overcome but also an editor to modify levels.
