Pyramis

Game ID: GID0255930
Collection Status
Description

Tiring of stone pyramids and all the work involved with them, Pharaoh the king of Egypt plans to build new pyramids out of gemstone cubes. How colorful, how novel – now you and the other players need to get the work done.

Each round in Pyramis is broken into two parts: the "mining" of gems and the building of pyramids. During the mining phase, players take turns drawing gems from the gembag, pulling 1-3 at a time. If they draw more than the specified amounts shown on that round's king card, then the player must give up that color of cubes along with extras as a penalty. Players can stop drawing gems at any time, and players score points based on the number of gems they draw in a round.

Players then build mini-pyramids of four gems, with more points being scored when the pyramids have fewer colors in them. You must use all of your gems each round, whether to complete pyramids started by others or to leave half-finished pyramids of your own.

After four rounds, the player with the most points wins.
