According to TCRF, the reason that the earlier releases used the title Hero's Quest: So You Want to Be a Hero, but it was renamed to Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero for the later releases, was to avoid sounding too similar to the unrelated "HeroQuest" board game which came out in 1989.
