From publisher blurb:
This is my love letter to classic gamebooks
Fighting Fantasy green spines, Steve Jackson's Sorcery, Grailquest and The Way of the Tiger. That's where it all started for me back in the '80s.
What's inside?
The story is told over four chapters. Each chapter is also a 'save point' so you can return there if you die.
How to play
There are combat skills (Attack and Health) and character skills (Agility, Luck and Perception). Combat is fairly straightforward and involves two six-sided dice. There are also opportunities to score a critical hit against an opponent and do more damage. Other game dynamics include code words and family luck points.
Bonus sections
This applies to illustrations that relate to the paragraph you are reading - there may be a number hidden in plain sight within the drawing. If there is, turn to that number for a special section to be revealed.
