R4 cars are based off of the most iconic of classic rally cars! They set themselves apart from both R6s and R5s not only with their timeless looks though but also with their driving styles. What they lack in horsepower they more than make up for in agility!
As their name suggests, R4 cars only have 4 Gear dice. However, they have 3 Coast dice instead of 2, giving them a major advantage on tricky sections of track. Therefor whilst they’ll have a lower overall speed average they should be able to maintain 3rd and 4th gear quite consistently even on the most technical stages!
Additionally, it shouldn’t be understated that 3 coast dice allow you to easily drift most corners in high gears too so you’ll find that, one again, despite the lower speeds R4s can cover distance quite quickly!
