Ratlings are humanoid rats standing about 5 feet tall. They are slight of build and covered in short course hair with the exception of the face, the palms of the hands, the souls of the feet and their tail. Despite their name this fur varies in colour from brown so dark that it is almost black to a sandy red. Interestingly there are no albino Brown Ratlings as such abominations are killed at birth by their parents, although this is extremely uncommon.
