After several sequels based on the original idea, the bizarre fighters of this unmistakable competition come to life at the hands of Atari, under the nickname Ready 2 Rumble Revolution, and who, together with the developer Aki, is already molding the successful formula that It worked ten years ago. Gloves in hand, the fun doesn't slow down one bit here.
Developed expressly for the Wii and its control capabilities, Ready 2 Rumble Revolution makes its comedic tone evident shortly after taking us to the title. Thus, the character template for the career mode will be made up of a multitude of parodies of famous people, celebrities from the world of stars in digital version and with the occasional facial feature exaggerated in a joking way.
Apart from those already included, the game will offer the possibility of creating our fighter from scratch, opting for different values in terms of speed, strength or resistance, which in turn can be increased as we progress. Once ready for combat, we must advance in the competition while dispatching the rivals on the table, climbing the ladder for the precious trophy and final recognition. In this sense, based on mini-games, the increase in skill points will be accompanied by a multitude of accessories, being able to equip our boxer with the outfit and its accessories that we like the most.
Compared to the typical single-player modes or in the company of friends, Ready 2 Rumble Revolution includes a series of small tests for lovers of unlocking as a reward. In almost its entirety, this set of challenges will test our reflexes, forcing us to execute precise movements under the pressure of a stopwatch, and eliminating sandbags and boxers alike. Again, victories at this point will help us continue increasing the volume of our wardrobe with more models for the collection. Finally, the list of possibilities will be completed with a quick exhibition mode, tournaments with various rules throughout the fights, and a complete training mode that will allow us to perfect our technique and master the movements well.
