From the publishers blurb:
A far away village tucked under a rarely travelled mountain pass, a storm, attack on the road, and the player characters find themselves shivering in the night, waking up drenched in cold waters. The forests are dangerous at night, and the safest way out of here seem to be with a village of starving people.
This adventure is structured as a closed matrix. It is written with a balance of investigation and exlporation, combat, and social interactions in mind. Time and events in the game push the adventure onwards continuously, but it is still structured as an open sandbox inbetween key time frames. This allows for new GMs to handle the adventure with ease, but still allows plenty of freedom for players to affect the outcome of the game.
Monsters are designed in a system-agnostic fashion, with guidance on how to adapt them to your system. The information within is distilled to be as light-weight as possible to make it easy to prep and refer back to during play.
This adventure usually provides 3-4 hours of play and consists of 5 pages.
Pick this adventure up for however much you feel is fair, and if it inspires you to write a spin off or continuation I'd love to hear about what comes out of it!
