Redshift is a dexterity based space battle game which mixes tactical tabletop combat with a light worker placement element.
Each player builds and takes control of a single fleet from 1 or 4 different factions. These fleets battle across the tabletop moving, shooting, and launching ordnance by flicking disks that represent their ships and weapons.
Players will need to complete missions to earn points by visiting the various locations on the board and dropping off their boarding parties. Gathering resources, building new technology, and hatching devious plots. The first player to earn 20 points wins.
Redshift captures all the tactical combat of a tabletop miniature war game using a skill based dexterity system instead of dice and adds emergent game play as players gain objectives overtime through the placement of the boarding teams and ships.
