From publisher blurb:
Renegade City is a modern-day game of Criminal sagas. Players create characters that have some connection to organized crime. Each character has their motivation for why they are in this life. Either they are trying to get deeper into the organization or trying to find a way to get free. However, does anyone ever voluntarily leave this type of lifestyle? This game is dark, gritty, and bloody.
There is also a vile underlying corruption building in Voorhees, NC. Lately, a cult has started to emerge. They are gaining followers fast entirely fanatical and unhinged. Most are junkies that are desperate and looking for a sense of belonging. They call themselves the Sons of Thaddeus. A group that believes they will resurrect a long-dead man named Thaddeus Voorhees, the family who founded this town, was burned at the state at the birth of this nation for practicing witchcraft.
This pack of nut jobs is slowly hitting various organizations, taking the product, and gaining junkies that the criminals created to be their loyal soldiers to do their dark bidding. Slowly but surely, criminals are losing territory to these fanatics. They also, in turn, have turned to selling drugs to increase their war chest.
The war is on to save this city, and it is up to…criminals to step up and be the anti-hero.
