Description

The world is in ruins- an unforgiving snow covered wasteland, with ruins that dot the landscape the only reminder of a bygone age. A war between magicians was the cause- a war that would have destroyed the world if magic hadn't suddenly died, leaving behind a phenomenon called The Blight. Necromantic energy infuses the ground, killing anything that grows and resurrecting the dead. These husks could only be put down by severing their heads. Cities fell and travel between the few remaining refuges of humanity became almost impossible, cutting off the communication between cities. One such city that remained was Dusk- so named because it was already in the arctic regions on the edge of known civilization.

Dusk still exists on the raggedy edge of extinction. And though the advances have helped keep the city secure, the disruption to every day life through the draconian rule and the paranoia and suspicions have turned the city into a shadow of its former self.
