Description
Return to Haunted House is a homebrew Atari 2600 game made by a small team lead by Anthony W. Wong that was released in 2005. Despite being a successor to Haunted House, this game is built on the source code for Adventure instead. As such, it feels like a fusion of the two; combining the spooky sprites and aesthetic of the former with the exploration elements and item management of the latter.
Soon after the unofficial release, AtGames acquired publishing rights to include the game on their Atari Flashback plug-and-play consoles. The game was eventually included on other official Atari game compilations including, most recently, the Atari50 collection.
