Return to Lightspire is an adventure for four or five characters of 4th–5th level. This adventure can be played as a stand-alone or dropped into a larger campaign setting.
The party is hired for a rescue mission that takes them on a treacherous journey under harsh winter conditions to reach their destination: a luxurious hotel, now closed until spring, where a champion of the realm and his young bride face unspeakable peril. Will the characters solve the mystery of the horror that infests the hotel in time to save the caretakers? Or will they meet the same fate that stalks the couple? Will they even survive the journey to get there? Great rewards await, but grave consequences could befall a party who approaches this challenge lightly.
