ODE TO THE GASSY OLD MEN
The Republican Party is no party as such,
In fact this years convention is really all stress,
As it consists of old men who fart too much
And a republican carrot is running for prez!
They sit there in silence as they contemplate
And scheme as they try to come up with a way
To further the union between god and state
And ruin the lives of people who are gay.
Then suddenly, one frantically gets off his ass:
Why didn't we think of this before?!
We'll load up a zeppelin with bombs and gas,
And take it all out on the middle class and poor!
Yes! Cries another as he loudly joins in,
It's all their fault any way no doubt,
So like an abortion but not really a sin:
It's about time we wipe them all out!
And they suppress their desire to lay with a man,
with impotent rage they are punching the air
We'll vent our frustration however we can,
Our zeppelin - is loaded for bear!
