Ripples is a two-player game inspired by the ripples created by raindrops. It is a territorial game that uses double-sided discs like Othello, but the discs placed by a player are always immediately surrounded by discs of the same color.
COMPONENTS
・Hexagonal board with 5 hexes on each side (61 hexes)
・61 white/blue double-sided discs
GAMEPLAY
The board is initially empty. Players decide which colors they will use in any given way. White is first.
The turn player places a disc with his/her color face up in any empty hex. Then flips over all the opponents' discs adjacent to the disc just placed and places discs of his/her color in all empty hexes adjacent to the disc.
GAMEND
The game ends when the board is full. The player with the most discs of his/her color face up at the end of the game wins.
