User Summary
River City Melee Mach!! is a battle royale spinoff of the classic Renegade/River City arcade games from the 1980s. The game features over 180 playable characters, divided into 30 teams. In single-player and local co-op mode, players can discover the story and background of each team by selecting them and playing through the game.
In addition to the standard punches and kicks, players can pick up various weapons and objects to use armed attacks for more damage and intensity. With the huge cast of characters, there are over 250 special moves! Each stage is rigged with traps and interactive elements that players can activate at will. Beyond the standard story mode, the game features several other modes including free play, which pits players against the CPU or up to 3 friends. There's also endless battle mode that challenges players to take out as many enemies as possible before their health runs out. Of course, the game supports online as well, pitting players against each other from all over the world.
The game supports a number of customization options as well, including allowing players to build their own teams from the 180 available characters. Players can also control what kinds of traps are in each stage or set specific battle options, such as no sharp weapons allowed.
