Herb Garden allows you, after a successful Gather Action from a tile, to put a black pawn and move it further in each production phase. After some time, the herbs are grown and they allow to heal one wound. Otherwise this tile is considered part of the Camp for all in-game purposes.
Pen allows you, after a successful Gather Action from an animal resource, to put a black marker the space on this tile. If both spaces contain a black marker, this means that your animals are breeding. This tile then produces one food in each Production phase till the end of the game. Otherwise this tile is considered part of the Camp for all in-game purposes.
