Rockman Power Battle Fighters is a fighting compilation title in the Mega Man franchise. The game includes the arcade fighters Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters. The gameplay and storylines have been maintained from their original arcade versions, but Power Battle Fighters includes a new 2 player versus mode and unlockable bonus modes.
Players can choose to play as Rockman (Mega Man), Blues (Proto Man), or Forte (Bass) as they duel against Robot Masters from Mega Man 1-7. Defeating a Robot Master unlocks their weapon for use in later stages. The Power Fighters adds Duo as a playable character.
