ROGUE SIGNAL is a single session game rooted in soft sci-fi and space western tropes. Thematically and in scope, it is very much inspired by Lady Blackbird and the Wild Blue Yonder chapters, as well as the TV Shows Firefly and Cowboy Bebop.

Emergency Protocol Cortex: Initiate Neural Instacomm
Rogue Signal Detected. Signature Analysis: Matched. Barrier-8: Breached. Barrier-7: Holding... Signal Trace: Successful.
Seraphine was blindsided by the sudden Cortex transmission. Coordinates came through, followed by orders: “Operatives, we have pinpointed the rogue signal. Take it out. Time is not on our side. She and her protégé scoured the dingy border spaceport for the fastest vessel they could find, knowing only they could reach the source in time. Soon enough, they were aboard the swift Peregrine, zipping through the treacherous and unexplored Terminus Asteroid Field. Its captain skillfully avoided collision as the mercenary looked on, still doubtful they should have taken a job from an Imperial Operative. Across the Cortex, another message: “Barrier-7: Breached.”
With the fate of the Astralis Reach at stake, we play to find out if this unlikely group thrown together by fate can stop the rogue signal and the enigmatic hacker behind it, Elderwood. One must wonder, though, that if the crew does find out what the hacker has unearthed, will they wish they hadn't?
