Cuando la recorres por primera vez, piensas que la odiarás, que nunca podrás acostumbrarte a su presencia, pero acabas viviendo en ella, enamorándote de ella, como si fuera una mujer de innumerables contradicciones. Sabes que te partirá el corazón, sabes que se marchará con el primero que pase, pero aún así, no podrás dejar de amarla, de amar a Cunia, la ciudad doliente.
Rol Negro es un juego que te invita a jugar el género negro que tan buenas historias ha generado en el cine, el cómic y la literatura. Cunia, la ciudad descrita en el libro, es un entorno urbano, detallado, que te servirá para revivir historias con personajes oscuros, donde el bien y el mal son sólo palabras y el verdadero valor se descubre en un callejón sin luz.
El juego utiliza un sistema denominado Sistema Sombra que usa 3d10 y permite la resolución de la acción (grado de éxito, localizaciones, daño) con una sola tirada de dados, lo que hace que sea ágil, rápido y sencillo y facilita mucho el desarrollo de la narración.
