Rolica is the second game in the ‘La Guerra de la Independencia’ series, following ‘Vimeiro’. Rolica covers the battle of the same name in August 1808 in Portugal during the Peninsular War between an army consisting of British, Spanish and Portuguese troops led by General Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, against a French army led by General Henri Delaborde.
