Roll Initiative!
This supplement is a combination of player options and system overhauls that aim to increase the strategic depth and push the boundaries of what's possible in 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons.
As the title would suggest, Roll Initiative is focused on what happens after combat breaks out.
The supplement includes:
1. A playtested and straight-forward update to how moving and flanking works in combat, inspired by the 3rd Edition rules
2. 31 new and powerful feats that open up new paths and playstyles
3. Skill Tricks, a new system that gives skill proficiencies more impact in combat encounters
4. Battle Focus, a new mechanic designed to make fights more cinematic and exciting
5. 13 New Subclasses, many of which rely on tactically complex mechanics like the Drifter Ranger's Shenanigan die or the Time Thief's "Time Damage" sneak attack
6. Magic Items, New Adventuring Gear and more!
Each of these new systems, feats and subclasses is tailored to be used on its own as a standalone addition to your game, or used together and explored for synergistic combos.
