Description

A Medieval Fantasy Boardgame based on Joseph Campbell´s "Hero´s Jorney" and Hermetic Kabbalah simbolism.

Each Player controls a small group of Adventurers who seek fame and fortune in the Lands of the Sephiroth.

The first part of the game is the setup. 20 Modular Tiles representing the 10 Sephiroth of the Kabbalah and 10 Mythical Places are randomly assembled to form the board.

Then, the Castle of the Emperor and the 4 Reigns (Cups, Swords, Staves and Coins) as well as other places of interest (Labyrinth, Orc Camp, Cemetery, the Ruins, the Elven Tree, the Great Market etc) should be placed on board.

Finally, the 3 Great Nemesis (Mythological Monsters such as Hydra, Cerberus, Dragons, Vampires, etc) should be placed according to instructions on each card.

Each Player starts with a Hero/Heroin and a Call to Adventure. It´s goal is to form the most famous and rich group of Adventurers in the 4 Reigns. Characters can be of any 4 classes (warrior=Earth, Thief=Air, Cleric=Water and Mage=Fire), based on the 4 elements of Alchemy, or combinations of that classes. The game is a sandbox, so there are many types of actions that can be played at every turn: They can search for missions, rumours, adventures, slay wandering monsters, quest for artifacts, craft magical itens, upgrade their characters, travel through the Reigns, explore dungeons and other actions.

As the game progresses, the group will meet friends, acquire new artifacts, meet some of the 22 Major Arcana of the Tarot and become more powerful, so they can face their Ultimate Nemesis.

The game is based on Victory Points, so it can vary from 30 minutes to a whole afternoon or even more, if you choose the Campaing Mode.
