Salad Shop is a cooperative word-building card game for 2-6 players. You and your friends just opened a new restaurant specializing in salads, and the ten biggest food critics in the nation all just walked through your front door. Get this right, and your salad shop is destined for glory. But if you fail, your Grand Opening may become your Grand Closing.
Each round starts by revealing an Order card describing the critic’s preferences. Players take turns playing veggie/letter cards from their hand, then work together to form the longest possible word. The team scores points both for the length of the word and for satisfying bonus criteria listed on the Order card. After 10 orders, your cumulative score determines if the critics drive your Salad Shop to success or doom it to failure.
Rules are also included for Veggie Swap, a 2-3 player competitive variant. In Veggie Swap, players take turns transforming words into new words one letter at a time. Fail too many times and you’re chopped from the competition. Last chef standing wins!
