User Summary

Samurai Warriors: Katana is a spinoff game of the Samurai Warriors series. Unlike the other games in the series, Katana is played from a first person perspective and applies the Wii remote's motion control in combat. The player takes the role of a mercenary under the command of any of a number of high profile warlords from the Warring States period of Japan and needs to hack and slash their way through levels filled with enemies. The character is equipped with both a melee and ranged weapon, and level design varies from an on-the-rails combat stage to a stationary combat stage to fully self-controlled movement stages.
