Sasha's Guide to 5E Subclasses

Game ID: GID0276295
Collection Status
Description

Presented here are tweaks and edits to all 113 offficial 5e subclasses. Some of these subclasses have recieved only minor tweaks or no changes whereas others have been completely overhauled. This includes a completely reworked Wild Magic Surge table. These edits have been made in order to address some issues currently present in the design of some subclasses as well as power imbalance. The edits aim to a) make all subclasses within a particular class fun for all at the table with unique mechanics that make its game play interesting, b) balance the power of all subclasses within a class, c) to make sure that there are no trap options or options that are inherently better to pick, d) make sure that all features scale into the higher levels of play, and e) to remove options that can be potentially game-breaking.

The hope with these changes is that you can give your players these options and not have to be afraid of one player being signifantly more powerful than another. The changes are based on feedback from the community about features that are problematic either due to being over or underpowered or because their mechanics are confusing or laborious to play at the table. In all instances, the changes presented are solely focused on mechanics and the flavor and thematics ofthe subclass have been maintained.
