Save the Castaway

"Your ship approaches a thick cloud of roiling smoke hanging over the rolling waves. Wisps of light dance in the fog periodically, drawing the attention of the ship's crew. While observing the phenomenon, you hear a cry for help from inside the cloud."

Pirates, explosions, hordes of undead, daring escapes, wild magic, and the thrill of adventure at sea! All that and more is rolled into this thrilling naval encounter for for 4 - 5 player characters of 9th to 10th level.

In Castaway Rescue, player characters dive into thick fog to save a sailor being attacked by aquatic ghouls on the burning wreckage of his sinking ship. the encounter normally takes around 1 hour to run.
