Scepter of Goth (also spelled Sceptre of Goth) was the first commercial multi-user RPG. The game was written for CDC Cyber by Alan E. Klietz.
Scepter was first owned and run by GāmBit, founded by Alan E. Klietz, Bob Alberti, Robert Alberti and Jerry Leon. GāmBit's assets were later sold to Interplay Productions.
The game have had some different names, as Milieu, Empire and Scepter.
