User summary:
Characters in the system are defined by Attributes (Body, Presence, Perception, Coordination, and Wits) - each with a possible Specialization - and Skills. Attributes and Skills may provide bonus dice to an action dice pool. Dice pool rolls are summed and then possibly modified. One die in each pool is identified as the "Wild Die" (usually, an off-color die) and this die can explode on a roll of a six, leading to potential critical successes.
The rules are concise and fairly light-weight, making the game suitable for beginning players and yielding a rapid style of play. The document provides little setting, though the skills enumerated strongly suggest a "modern" genre.
Publisher blurb:
The system outlined...borrows heavily from Micropend6 and Mini Six. This is a derivative work and all credit should go to Sigil Stone Publishing, AntiPaladin Games and, of course, West End Games for Open D6.
