In the bleak midwinter, the yuletide is a time when the walls between worlds are thin, when spirits might visit and miracles could happen. But dark and malevolent beings can also prey on the mortal world. Jacob Marley was a cold, greedy, and brutal man in life and now suffers a lonely and tormented afterlife. As he haunts his old counting house, Marley is determined to twist and corrupt any soul he can, driving them to the same damnation he brought upon himself.
